Glenda founded and leads Aurora that provides recruitment marketing and intelligence for over 80 blue-chip and public sector clients through wheretowork.com. Aurora also delivers a 30,000 member business women's network. Glenda founded and chairs the annual 'Where Women Want To Work TOP 50' with The Times newspaper and also co-chairs the ‘Women's Enterprise Task Force’ established by the UK Prime Minister. Glenda is also responsible for managing and marketing various International Women's Day corporate activity each year. She advises a number of blue-chip companies on women's enterprise issues, is a Judge of various business awards, is a regular business commentator in the press, and is an active angel investor.

Glenda first commenced her career as a teacher in the Australian outback before embarking on a government career in Queensland Education Department, the Cabinet Office, and HM Treasury. Glenda has won many business awards and is regularly cited in the media regarding her views on business and women's work-related issues. Glenda holds a Dip. Teach; a B.Ed; a M.Ed and an honorary doctorate from Leeds Metropolitan University.

Glenda is a member of the Small Business Forum and the Small Business Finance Forum.
