WETF research into women in the recession

In 2009, the Women's Enterprise Task Force conducted research into the effect of the recession on women's enterprise. 

Key findings from this piece of work suggested that, although women are over-represented in sectors which are most vulnerable in the recession, many growth-oriented women-owned enterprises have low debt and controlled overheads, enabling them to attract new business and be optimistic about their sustainability in a difficult economic environment.
